Russian stock market rises at the start of trading

At the opening of the main trading session, the MOEX and RTS indexes rose 0.72% to 2434.28 and 914.36 points, respectively.

Moscow, October 14. /TASS/. According to data from the Moscow Stock Exchange, Russian stock indices were rising at the start of the main trading session. The yuan rate is falling.

At the opening of the main trading session, the MOEX and RTS indexes increased by 0.72% and reached 2434.28 and 914.36 units, respectively, based on trading data until 09:00 am Moscow time.

At the beginning of trading on the Moscow Stock Exchange, the yuan-to-ruble exchange rate decreased by 1.45 kopecks compared to the previous close and reached 12.549 rubles.

By 09:30 a.m. Moscow time, the MOEX index rose to 2,436.54 points (+0.73 percent), while the RTS index stood at 915.21 points (+0.73 percent). Meanwhile, the yuan rate fell by 2 kopecks to 12.544 rubles.

Based on the trading data until 07:00 am Moscow time, in the opening of the morning trading, the index of the Moscow Stock Exchange increased by 0.4% and reached 2428.38 units.
