Ahvaz - Governor of Khuzestan stated that the honor of the country depends on the culture of self-sacrifice and said: promoting the culture of martyrdom is the main support of our national power and global position.
According to Mehr reporter, Seyyed Mohammad Reza Mowalizadeh stated this Monday evening at the meeting of the Council for the Development and Promotion of the Culture of Sacrifice and Martyrdom in the province: What we have achieved so far, which has made the country achieve this honor and global spiritual status, is the blessing of the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom.
Referring to the sacrifices made on this path, he added: On this path, many people reached the highest level of martyrdom, and at the head of all of them was the leader, leader, and imam of our martyr. Although this way and custom of martyrdom has lost dear people, on the other hand, it has enhanced the dignity and greatness of a nation in the eyes of the world.
Describing the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom as a life-giving culture, the governor of Khuzestan stated: We have duties and missions in front of the families of the martyrs and all the sacrificers, which we must follow in the best way. Shahid Foundation alone cannot fulfill this mission and all institutions must contribute to this path.
Emphasizing the special position of Khuzestan province, Mowalizadeh said: Especially in Khuzestan province, which is the land of resistance and the capital of holy defense, these concepts have a special sanctity, and we are responsible for their preservation and promotion, and we must make a serious effort in this way.
He said: Taking care of the honorable families of martyrs, veterans, freedmen, and fighters is one of the priorities of the provincial administration, and we hope that with the cooperation of all institutions, we will see the improvement of services to these loved ones.
