Trump and Rubio are considering firing the US ambassador to Greece
Donald Trump and Marco Rubio are considering firing the US ambassador to Greece.
According to Ambassador Arjan, Donald Trump, the head of the American terrorist state, and Marco Rubio, the foreign minister of this country, are considering the dismissal of Kimberly Guilfoyle, the American ambassador to Greece, following the publication of reports about inappropriate behavior and possible legal violations.
Charges against Guilfoyle include accepting improper gifts and favors, threatening a Greek official and offering to use his influence in the US government to pay his $100,000 credit card bill.
An American official said that Trump and Rubio are very angry about these reports and it is possible that they will decide on the fate of the ambassador this week. The US State Department is also investigating these allegations.
Two days ago, the Wall Street Journal exposed the scandal of the US ambassador to Greece's controversial request to one of Trump's financiers.
Accordingly, Kimberly Guilfoyle, the US ambassador to Greece, has asked Trump's financier to deposit $100,000 into his credit card account to settle his debts.
Based on this, Guilfoyle, the former candidate of Donald Trump Jr., has offered to Eric Dieters, an American businessman, to use his government connections in front of him to solve his tax and legal affairs.
The request is especially urgent shortly before Guilfoyle's Senate confirmation hearing for his ambassadorship on July 9, 2025.
Dietz, a 63-year-old former lawyer and unsuccessful candidate for political office, has been a member of the Trump camp for years. By his own admission, he paid Guilfoyle a total of $300,000 in 2020 to attend his "Freedom Party" in Kentucky. In addition, he is said to have paid $200,000 to Donald Trump Jr. and $100,000 to Eric Trump in subsequent years.
After Trump won the fall 2024 election, Dieters claims he sought Guilfoyle's support on several issues that were particularly important to him. Dieters had problems with the IRS and was hoping for Guilfoyle's help. He also wanted to extradite a doctor who had fled to Pakistan and allegedly perform unnecessary spine surgeries and launch an investigation against the doctor's insurance company.
The American ambassador is already under pressure due to other accusations. Leading Democrats on the foreign policy committees of both houses of Congress have called for an investigation into his conduct.
This stems from reports that he allegedly lobbied for a Greek company and brought its lobbyists to government meetings.
However, recently in Athens on Wednesday, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio praised him and said: "Our ambassador is a strong ambassador."
Critics of US President Donald Trump's administration have called for Kimberly Guilfoyle, the US ambassador to Greece, to resign after the Wall Street Journal published an article.
