Record dozens of cases of crimes against Yemeni children with American ammunition

The attacks carried out against Yemen over the past years show that the residential areas and schools of this country are among the targets of the enemies and Yemeni children are an important part of the victims.

According to Ambassador Arjan, quoted by Al-Manar, while Saudi Arabia's aggression against Yemen has intensified in recent days, the investigation of crimes recorded during the years of war and destruction in Yemen from March 2015 to July 2020 shows that Yemeni children are an important part of the victims of these attacks. In August 2018, at least 51 people were martyred during an air attack on a bus in Majez region of Saada province, which was transporting Yemeni students.

500 pound American ammunition was used in this attack. At that time, the Saudi coalition claimed that there was a mistake in carrying out this attack. Air strikes in June 2015 in Saada, and especially Al-Aram village, caused the martyrdom of 36 children and extensive destruction of the houses of the Yemeni people.

On September 15 of the same year, three air strikes against Bagham region resulted in the martyrdom of 11 children and women. On July 10, 2015, at least 11 women and children were martyred in the attack on al-Hanirah area in Sana'a. In March 2016, Al-Khamis market in Hajjah province witnessed airstrikes during which 25 children were martyred. At the same time, it was announced that this air attack was carried out using American ammunition.

In August 2018, Hodeidah province witnessed an attack on a car containing Yemeni refugees, as a result of which 22 children were martyred. In September 2016, the attack on the market of Hoque Hodeidah area caused the martyrdom of seven children and the destruction of 14 houses. Seven children were killed in the May 2019 airstrike on a gas station in Maweyeh.

The targeting of a school in Haidan district of Saada province in August 2016 with the presence of children aged eight and above left 38 martyrs and wounded. In January 2017, al-Falah elementary school in the northeast of Sana'a was also targeted by an attack, as a result of which eight children were martyred. February 2020 airstrikes against the residential areas of Al-Maslub region left 44 martyrs and wounded among children.

Also, the targeting of residential houses in March 2019 in Hajjah province resulted in the martyrdom of 12 children. The attacks against residential areas in July 2020 in Hajja resulted in the martyrdom of eight women and children, in July 2017 against Al-Mukha, seven children were martyred, and in September 2016 against Sana'a, five children were martyred.

16 children were also martyred in an attack on a wedding ceremony in Sanban village in October 2015. The targeting of residential houses belonging to the electricity production company in the city of Al-Mukha in July 2015 resulted in the martyrdom of 10 children.
