Hojjat-ul-Islam Ahmad Ahmadi Magdar, in a conversation with Mehr reporter, referring to the position of religious scholars in Islam and the death of Ayatollah Ghorbani, stated: It is stated in Islamic teachings and the words of the infallible Imams (a.s.) that with the death of a scholar and a jurist, a gap is created in Islam that nothing can fill.

The head of political ideology of Astana Ashrafieh police force and one of Ayatollah Ghorbani's students, added: Today we are witnessing the passing away of a scholar in Gilan who was educated and nurtured for years in the presence of religious scholars, such as Imam Khomeini (RA), Allameh Tabatabai, Imam Musa Sadr, Ayatollah Nouri Hamdani, Ayatollah Boroujerdi and other elders.

Referring to Ayatollah Ghorbani's scientific and preaching activities, he continued: After finishing his education, Ayatollah Ghorbani taught, wrote and propagated the religion of Islam and left numerous books, researches and religious articles. During the Pahlavi regime, he was imprisoned and exiled many times by SAVAK due to his enlightening and fiery speeches.

Hojjat-ul-Islam Ahmadi Magdar stated that Ayatollah Ghorbani held important responsibilities in the country and the province after the victory of the Islamic Revolution and clarified: The first responsibility of the late Ayatollah Ghorbani was the chairmanship of the Islamic Revolution Committees in the east of the province, who held this responsibility for more than five years.

He stated that Ayatollah Ghorbani entered the parliament in the second term of the Islamic Council as a representative of the people of Astana Ashrafieh and headed the Culture and Art Commission of the Islamic Council for four years, he continued: Ayatollah Ghorbani was appointed by Imam Rahel as the Imam of Juma Lahijan and after that, he served for 17 years as the Imam of Juma of Rasht and the representative of the religious jurist in Gilan province.

Pursuing people's issues and paying attention to the district and university

The ideological-political head of the Astana Ashrafieh police force stated that Ayatollah Ghorbani was a seminary and university professor and stated: The late Ghorbani founded a large seminary in Gilan province and in his messages, speeches and sermons in Friday prayers, especially in meetings with ministers and country officials, he pursued the issues of the people and villagers, and even in the field of agriculture, he was concerned and demanding and followed people's issues seriously.

He mentioned the perseverance and scientific and moral qualities of Ayatollah Ghorbani and said: Ayatollah Ghorbani was elected for four terms by the people of Gilan province as a representative of the Assembly of Leadership Experts.

Referring to his studentship under Ayatollah Ghorbani, Hojat-ul-Islam Ahmadi Magdar said: I had the opportunity to study under him in the master's degree in law and fundamentals at Lahijan University.

He added: Ayatollah Ghorbani used to express academic issues beautifully, eloquently and eloquently, and besides education, he also paid attention to people's issues and problems. People easily shared their heartaches with him.

Referring to Ayatollah Ghorbani's follow-up after stepping down from the responsibility of Friday Imam of Rasht and introducing Ayatollah Falahati as the representative of the religious jurist in the province and Friday Imam of Rasht, Ayatollah Ghorbani was still concerned about social issues and the people. One of the articles he had written reached the leader of the revolution, and the leader of the revolution, Ayatollah Ghorbani, was called to attend and was highly appreciated.

Stating that all human beings leave this perishable world, he said: Ayatollah Ghorbani's name will live on with the valuable books he researched and authored and made available to the people, and the people of science and the people can continue to benefit from his works and thoughts.

Hojjat-ul-Islam Ahmadi Magdar, pointing out that Ayatollah Ghorbanizadeh of Pinchah village was on the threshold of Ashrafieh, added: Ayatollah Ghorbanizadeh will rest after 93 years of education and training, next to Imamzadeh Wajib-ul-Tazim, Hazrat Sultan Seyyed Jalaluddin Ashraf.

He continued: Funeral and burial ceremony Ayatollah Ghorbani said: His body is supposed to be cremated this morning in Lahijan city and then moved to Astana Ashrafieh, and it will be in this city after the funeral and burial.
