Fate of Kolah Farangi Structure on the Table of Karaj Municipality and Agriculture Jihad Talks

The Mayor of Karaj, pointing to the uncertain ownership of the Kolah Farangi structure, announced the municipality's proposals to resolve the status of this property, saying purchase based on expert appraisal, land swap, and installment payment are the proposed solutions for reaching an agreement with the Ministry of Agriculture Jihad.

Referring to the uncertainty of the ownership of the Kolafrangi structure, the mayor of Karaj announced the municipality's proposals to determine the assignment of this property and said: "Purchase based on the expert price, clearing the land and paying in installments are the suggested solutions for an agreement with the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad."

Mehrdad Kayani, in an interview with Aria Heritage reporter, in response to the ownership status of the Kolafrangi structure in Karaj, stated that the determination of the ownership of this structure is still under the order of follow-up, and Karaj municipality has also declared its readiness to cooperate with the Ministry of Jihad Agriculture and provide legal assistance in several meetings held in this regard.

Emphasizing the need to find a specific solution to end the uncertainty of the ownership of this property, the mayor of Karaj added: To solve this problem, the municipality has not limited itself to the issue, but has put forward various proposals with the aim of providing the basis for an agreement between the parties so that the status of this structure can be determined legally.

Pointing to one of the proposals presented in this regard, this official said: Buying a property based on an expert price is one of the options proposed by the municipality. In this method, the value of the property is determined based on an expert's opinion in order to provide the possibility of agreeing on its transfer within the framework of legal criteria.

He explained: Another solution is to clear the property with land. This means that a land with equivalent expert value should be provided to the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad, and in this way, the ground for solving the issue of the ownership of the Kholafrangi structure will be provided. This proposal is also made with the aim of reaching an applicable agreement and providing the opinion of the parties.

Stating that the possibility of handing over the property with agreed terms and paying its price in installments has also been taken into consideration, this official stated that the municipality is ready to follow the suggestions made in the framework of the negotiations with the Ministry of Jihad Agriculture, so that if the parties agree, the final solution for determining the assignment of this property will be determined.

Emphasizing that the realization of this issue requires interaction between the relevant institutions and compliance with legal requirements, the mayor of Karaj said: The municipality's approach is to pursue the issue through dialogue and use legal capacities, and we hope that the ownership status of the Kolafarangi structure will be clarified by continuing the negotiations and reaching a joint agreement.

In the end, he said: "We hope that with the cooperation of Karaj Municipality and the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad, one of the issues raised about this structure will be resolved and the basis for determining its duties based on the agreement and legal regulations will be provided."
