200 Billion Rials Allocated for Restoration of Shalmzar Castle Grounds
Director of the Historical Fortresses Cultural Heritage Site in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari said 200 billion rials has been allocated for restoring the grounds of Samsam al-Saltaneh Castle in Shalmzar.
The director of the cultural heritage base of the historical castles of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari said: 200 billion rials were allocated for the reconstruction of the area of the castle of Samsam al-Sultaneh in Shalamzar.
According to the report of Aria's Heritage reporter, Ayat Azadegan said on Wednesday, October 22: This amount has been allocated for the landscaping of the yard, the restoration of the pond, and the restoration of the surrounding walls of Samsam al-Sultaneh Shalamzar Castle.
The director of the cultural heritage base of the historical castles of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari added: The reconstruction of the area of the castle of Samsam-ul-Sultane Shalemzar is supposed to be done in four months.
He clarified: Shalamzar Castle is the building of the palace of Najaf Qolikhan Samsam Al-Sultane Bakhtiari from the period of the conquerors of Isfahan and Tehran during the struggle against the tyranny of Mohammad Ali Shah Qajar.
The expert on preservation and restoration of historical, spiritual and natural monuments of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari reminded: Many parts of this province have long been the cradle of significant historical and cultural concepts, and in the meantime, Shalamzar, as the center of Kiyar city, is considered to have special characteristics from various aspects.
He added: The surrounding nature of Shalamzar with its snow-covered heights, green meadows, gardens and clear springs has turned this city into one of the prominent resorts in the region.
Azadegan said: Shalamzar's location on the historical route of Dezpart and the attention of various Bakhtiari clans to this area as a place of settlement and crossing between the plains of Khuzestan and Isfahan has added to its historical and cultural importance.
