A private investigator says new details point to a possible premeditated plot in the family murders at Pennsylvania's Great Wolf Lodge.
Metallica's Rose Harrison, 27, faces two counts of felony murder after prosecutors say she stabbed to death her husband, Charles "Chaz," and the couple's 3-year-old son, Tristan. It happened at the resort in the Poconos region of Pennsylvania.
According to a criminal complaint, the knives recovered by investigators at the scene did not match those belonging to the resort.
"Both knives had green handles, which Great Wolf staff confirmed were not the type kept at the lodge," the document said.

Autopsies on both victims are underway, the family has confirmed. Investigators found the father and young son were butchered in a hotel room at the resort on Monday.

The family of three lived in a simple house in Towanda, Pennsylvania. Their home is about 100 miles northwest of the resort.

"There are so many lodges in the mountains between where they live and where they've gone that I'm curious why they chose that lodge," said private investigator Rod Devine.
His company is based in the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania, south of the Poconos.
"There are a lot of moving parts here that investigators will look at," he said.
In his experience, he has come face to face with convicted murderers and murder suspects.

He explained: The allegation of emptying the pension fund, the nature of the killing of the husband and toddler, and the possible killing of the weapons that were brought from home during a long vacation, indicate a possible prediction in this terrible case.

"From the record that we can look at, we the public, it looks like there are certain elements that have already been met," he said.

Various news outlets are also reporting that Harrison didn't want to get pregnant in the first place and was apparently angry with her son.

WNEP reported that the family also told investigators that the mother of the accused murderer "dominated, controlled and isolated three members of her husband's family over the past three years."

As the murder investigation continues, members of Chaz's family grapple with their new normal.
Chaz's sister shared in an update on the GoFundMe page: "His love for his wife and child was out of this world and is sadly the reason he lost his life and his son's."
"I'm not here to say anything bad about his wife. I know my brother wouldn't want me to do that," he continued.
He is sitting in a cell in the Monroe County Jail and in court on October 21.
