Iran's Consul General in Erbil Responds Firmly to American Propaganda Against Iran: Framarzi: We Have No Negotiations with Separatists!

Faramarz Asadi, Iran's Consul General in Erbil, in an exclusive interview with the Rudaw Media Network, outlined his country's positions on the post-withdrawal phase of coalition forces from Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, relations between Tehran and Erbil, the fate of Iranian Kurdish parties, and attacks carried out against the Kurdistan Region.

In an exclusive interview with Rudaw media network, Faramarz Esadi, the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Erbil, explained his country's positions regarding the stage after the withdrawal of the coalition forces from Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, the relations between Tehran and Erbil, the fate of Iranian Kurdish parties and the attacks against the Kurdistan Region.

According to Ambassador Arjan, Faramarz Esadi, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Erbil, in an exclusive interview with Rudaw media network, explained his country's positions regarding the stage after the withdrawal of the coalition forces from Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, the relations between Tehran and Erbil, the fate of Iranian Kurdish parties and the attacks against the Kurdistan Region.

Pointing out that they were in constant contact with the authorities of the Kurdistan Region before and during the conflicts, the Iranian Consul General said: "The position of the Kurdistan Region was very wise and rational; They emphasized that this conflict is beyond the climate; And they don't want to get involved in it or see the Kurds and the Kurdistan Region suffering. The Americans tried to drag the climate into this conflict and provoke us against Erbil with military maneuvers in the streets of Erbil and the deployment of surveillance balloons (aerostats), but the Iranian authorities managed this issue with great tact and wisdom.

Regarding the targeting of the Kurdistan Regional President's residence in Dohuk and the prime minister's office, Faramarz Asadi told Rodav: "This action was definitely not carried out by Iran. As the consul general, I was the first person to call when the incident happened and condemn that attack. Subsequently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Revolutionary Guards and other institutions denied this issue; "The security institutions of the region also determined from which point the drone was launched inside Iraq."

Regarding the departure of the American forces, the Iranian Consul General congratulated the people of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region and said: "If the Americans are not present in Iraq and do not target Iran from Iraqi soil, there is no reason for Iran to target its neighbor. Our targets were only America and the occupiers. However, their intelligence forces (CIA) are still present and any action by them against Iran will be considered in line with America's interests.

Referring to the presence of Iranian Kurdish parties in the Kurdistan region, Faramarz Esadi considered this issue to be the main challenge between Erbil and Tehran and added: "They have violated the security agreement; Even in recent days, they have penetrated inside Iran and started killing. We demand that Iraq and the Kurdistan Region take legal and security measures against them and deal with them in accordance with the provisions of the agreement."

Esadi rejected the possibility of negotiating with these parties and said: "No government sits at the negotiating table with the murderers of its own people; They do not have the authority to make their own decisions and are guided by others. However, Iran's doors are open to those who want to return as normal citizens."
