Zarei: I Had Set Aside Track and Field

The Iranian female track and field athlete said she had withdrawn from the sport for some time.

Zahra Zarei, silver medalist in athletics at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, said: I started athletics in student competitions, but gave it up. Of course, at the age of 26, I came back again and luckily I attended the camps and my records improved a lot in the last year and finally I got silver in the Asian Games.

He further stated: "If there were no regular camps, I would not have won the medal." I am glad that I answered the trust. Now my goal is to win the Asian and World Championships and then the Olympics.
