Mohammad Resistance Birjand Finishes Runner-Up in National Zurkhaneh Talent League

Birjand — Birjand's Moghavemat Zurkhaneh sports team won the runner-up title in the national Talent League for the first time in South Khorasan's zurkhaneh sports history.

Birjand- Birjand resistance sports team for the first time in the history of South Khorasan strength sports won the runner-up title of the talented league of the country.

Mehdi Qamari, one of the veterans of Zorkhaneh sports in South Khorasan, said in a conversation with Mehr reporter: The completely local Zorkhaneh team of Amir Arab (PBUH) in Birjand, which participated in this competition under the title of "Resistance in Birjand", was the only team of this period of competition where all its members were from one city and one academy.

He added: The members of this team were able to win the title of runner-up of the country's gifted league with a beautiful and worthy performance that was broadcasted live on sports network.

Pointing to the limited facilities and financial conditions of the Birjand resistance team compared to other competitors, Qamari said: In the competition with its powerful opponents, this team was able to be higher than teams such as Isfahan's Mobarake Steel Club and Qom's Choice Investment Group and achieved the runner-up position.

He continued: "Resistance team of Birjand faced the team of the Investment Development Group in the semi-final stage."

According to Qamari, these competitions were held in two groups with the titles of Martyr Masiha Salari and Martyr Makan Nasiri.

The selected team of Zorkhaneh Academy of Amir Arab (AS) Birjand participated in this competition under the title of Birjand Resistance.

Ali Kohansal was the head of the team, Mohammad Hossein Khodabakhshi and Ali Asghar Akbari were the coaches, Amir Mohammad Delirinia Miandar and Taha Ghafari were the mentors and athletes of the team.

Also, Ali Moqri, Abolfazl Varasteh, Amir Ali Yari, Mohammad Ali Ghasemi, Amirreza Nikoyi and Mohammad Ali Qainati were among the other athletes of the Birjand resistance team in these competitions.
