According to the report of Ambassador Arjan, Guardsman Major General Ali Abdullahi, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, issued a congratulatory message on the occasion of the birth of Hazrat Zainab, peace be upon her, and Nurse's Day. The text of the message is as follows:
The anniversary of the blessed birth of Aqeela Bani Hashem, Hazrat Zainab Kabri (peace be upon her), the embodiment of patience, insight, sacrifice and perseverance, and naming this auspicious day as "Nurse's Day" is a great opportunity to uphold the high position of nurses and appreciate their sincere efforts in the field of health and service to the people.
The historical memory of Iran and Iran testifies that the nurses and the health community of the armed forces, along with professional knowledge and skills, with a spirit of jihad and full of commitment, sacrifice and responsibility, play a role in the front line of serving employees, warriors and their families, diligently and honestly. This role, beyond a job task, is a part of the defense health system and an effective factor in improving combat readiness, national resilience and protecting the human capital of the armed forces.
Undoubtedly, honoring nurses is honoring health, security and national authority. In normal and critical situations, nurses have always proven their adherence to the sacred mission of serving fellow human beings; A clear example of it can be seen during epidemics as well as during the glorious days of service in the first, second and third holy defense.
In this holy season, I sincerely congratulate all the honorable and selfless nurses of the armed forces on Nurse's Day. Great men and great women who sacrificed their most valuable assets in the way of doing their duty and saving human lives. Undoubtedly, the name and memory of these high-ranking martyrs is a lasting document of the connection of knowledge, service, sacrifice and sacrifice, and their way and customs will be a bright light and a model for the nurses of the armed forces and the future generation.
