Pressure Drop and Water Loss Resolved at Two Points in Kermanshah

The head of the Kermanshah County Water and Wastewater Company announced the repair of the water network ring in Elahiyeh Town and the fixing of a leak in the transmission line and water connection on the Old Tehran Road.

Director of Water and Sewerage of Kermanshah city announced the implementation of the operation of repairing the ring of the water network in Elaheh town and fixing the leakage of the water transmission line and branching on the old road of Tehran.

According to the reporter of Arjan Ambassador from Kermanshah province, Mohammad Mehdi Soltanian, referring to the drop in water pressure in Taleghani Street of Elaheh city, said: To improve the pressure and stability of water supply, the operation of 150 mm asbestos line rim with 110 mm polyethylene pipe was implemented and a 150 mm shut-off valve was also installed to manage the water flow.

He also informed about fixing the leak of 90 mm polyethylene line on the old road of Tehran, Laleh North housing area, and added: This leak, which was caused due to wear and tear of the pipe, was fixed by replacing 6 meters of the damaged pipe.

In the end, Soltanian emphasized: timely identification and resolution of network incidents plays an important role in reducing water wastage, increasing network stability and improving services to citizens.
