'Kenar Khat-e Ahan' Unveiled

Qom – The author of 'Kenar Khat-e Ahan', stressing that social workers can build friendly interactions and emotional bonds with affected children and families, and can have a significant impact on changing the course of their lives, said: In part of the book, I have depicted this subject in the form of a story.

According to the reporter of Iran's Ambassador Arjan in Qom, Zahra Abdi, the author of the book "Kanar Khat Ahan" at the Jamal International Publications store, said at the launch of this book: In terms of preventing social harm, it is not enough to build a counseling office, office or cultural center for disadvantaged areas, people in those areas do not show a desire to attend these places.

He continued: Even many of these families are afraid to go anywhere because they have a criminal in their home. According to research, non-governmental centers where workers work there and establish a friendly interaction and an emotional relationship with affected children and families can be very effective in changing the path of those people's lives.

This author added: In a part of the book, I have depicted this issue in the form of a story. I hope it will be useful for the activists of these areas, and these topics are part of my experience of working in deprived areas for ten years.

Abdi added: I have been cooperating with the children's press since 1986. For a period, I was going to report on different jobs. From the feedback I received from the audience and the editors of the magazine, I realized that people are very interested in this issue. One of my reports about an old man who weaves mats was selected at the 11th National Children and Youth Press Festival. There are two or three other jobs that I would like to write about. I think their lives can be a good example for our youth and people, but the problem is that when they realize that I want to write about their jobs and their lives, they feel doubts and worries.

It doesn't matter where he is from! Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan... you are all of the same blood. No genetic test can prove to me that the one who was executed in a field in Lahore, the one who lost his leg in Iraq, the one who took his own life in Aleppo, or those whose pieces were hanged on the wall in Kabul during the bombing, are not my brothers and sisters!!!
