Grand Celebration of the Birth of Lady Zeinab (PBUH) to Be Held at Zanjan's Zeinabiyeh-e Azam

Zanjan – The head of the Board of Trustees of Zanjan's Zeinabiyeh-e Azam announced that a grand celebration of the birth of Lady Zeinab Kubra (PBUH) will be held with the presence of the province's prominent eulogists.

In an interview with Mehr reporter, Mohammad Ainifard said: The grand celebration of the birth of the Lady of Patience and Endurance, Hazrat Zainab, peace be upon him, will be held on Thursday, October 24 at 20:00 in the presence of men in Zainabiyah Azam, Zanjan.

He added: In this ceremony, Kalami professor, Rasouli, Shabiri, Haj Gholamreza Ainifard and other prominent reciters of the province will be present and by singing praises and performing artistic programs, they will explain the high position of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH), the life of that noble lady and her role in safeguarding the Ashura movement.

The official of the Board of Trustees of Zainabiyah Azam Zanjan pointed out that this ceremony will be held from 15:30 to 17:30 in Zainabiyah Azam, with the presence of women and the birth reading of professor Morteza Heydari.

Reception of 10,000 people on the birthday of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH)

Referring to the widespread acceptance of Zainabiyah Azam Zanjan's programs by the people, Ainifard said: every year, this complex has the honor of hosting nearly 10,000 citizens and fans of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) in the celebration of the birth of Hazrat Zainab Kabri (PBUH), and serving the devotees of the family of Immaculate and Purity is a source of pride for the servants of this complex.

Explaining the side programs of this celebration, he added: symbolic honoring of two nurses is planned in a special ceremony for women. Also, by attending one of the hospitals in Zanjan city, the ladies of Zainbiye neighborhood will appreciate the efforts and valuable services of the nurses and medical staff in serving the people, especially during the days of the American-Zionist invasion, while donating flowers and blessed gifts.

230 nights serving the procession of Zainabieh Azam Zanjan in night gatherings

The official of Zainabieh Azam Zanjan's board of trustees, referring to the procession activities of this complex, said: Zainabieh Azam's procession with the participation of Basiji women of the neighborhood has been active for more than 200 nights in the night gatherings and serves the people by distributing tea, syrup and entertaining the attendees.

He continued: Simultaneously with the celebration of Hazrat Zainab's birthday, a reception program will be held in Zanjan's Sabze Maidan with more special preparations and distribution of sweets and chocolates.

In another part of his speech, referring to the historical and cultural background of Zainabieh Azam in Zanjan, Ainifard said: The history of this religious place, which was formed by the efforts and through the endowment of a Zanjani lady to hold a mourning ceremony and honor the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), dates back to more than 400 years ago.

He added: Throughout history, Zainabiyah Azam has enjoyed special respect among the people of Zanjan due to her religious status, people's beliefs and their devotion to Hazrat Zainab Kabri (PBUH).

The official of the Board of Trustees of Zainabieh Azam Zanjan, pointing to the place of this complex in holding religious rituals in the province, stated: Like Hosseinieh Azam Zanjan, Zainabieh Azam also hosts one of the largest mourning groups in the country on the 12th day of Muharram, which is held with the large attendance of hundreds of thousands of mourners.

At the end, referring to the religious beliefs and people's appeal to Hazrat Zainab (PBUH), Ainifard noted: many people of Zanjan recount their spiritual experiences by attending this holy place and appealing to the great lady of Karbala, and Zainabiyah Azam still has a special place in the religious beliefs and traditions of the people of this province.
