With a 4-1 victory over Iraqi Air Force, Al-Ain Emirates got six points and kept the top of the table due to a positive seven-goal difference. This team has scored eight goals and conceded only one goal in two matches.

Saudi Arabia's Al-Ahly won 3-1 against Al-Wasl of the United Arab Emirates and got four points and stood in the third place. With a 1-1 draw against Uzbekistan's Pakhtakor, Al-Qadisiya gained four points and took the fourth place. Al-Nasr of Saudi Arabia ranked eighth with a 2-1 victory against Naftchi of Uzbekistan.

Tractor reached a goalless draw in its second match against Al Shamal Qatar and earned its first point. However, the representative of Tabriz was ranked 12th in the table with one point and minus one goal difference.

Tractor has not yet managed to score in its first two games and needs to win and strengthen its offensive performance to improve its position. On the other hand, Qatar's Al-Gharafa and Emirates' Al-Wasl remained without points after losing in the second week.

Based on the draw of the group stage of the Asian Elite League, the two football teams of Esteghlal and Traktor knew their opponents.
