Shariati: Banks Should Strengthen Financing for Production Units

A Mazandaran lawmaker, pointing to imbalances in the country's banking system, said that under current conditions banks should strengthen financing and working capital for production units.

A member of the Mazandaran Assembly of Representatives, pointing to the existence of some problems of inconsistency in the country's banking network, said: In the current conditions of the country, financing and working capital of production units should be strengthened by banks.

Gholamreza Shariati Andrati said in a conversation with the ambassador of Arjan: The country's banking network has played a fundamental role in the country's economic development, and the working capital of production units in the current situation is the basic need of business and production owners, which should be taken into consideration by the country's banking system planners.

He added: National Bank has a basic responsibility in front of the government's monetary and banking obligations, and in the conditions of war and sanctions, it has been a good helper for the production sector, employment, social welfare and providing for people's livelihood problems.
