Illegal Fishers Arrested in Kohrang County

Kohrang – The head of the Kohrang County Department of Environment said that during a patrol and inspection by the environmental protection unit, violators who were illegally fishing were identified and arrested while catching fish in the Nazi River in the Bazoft district.

Kohrang- The head of Kohrang Environment Department said: During the inspection and control of the Environmental Protection Unit in Kohrang, the offenders of illegal fishing were identified and arrested while fishing in Nazi river in Bazfat sector.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan Vahid Yousefi, the head of the environmental protection agency in Kohrang city, said: The officers of the environmental protection unit in Kohrang city, during patrolling and control in Bazaft section, noticed fishermen who were fishing illegally in the Nazi river in this section, so they succeeded in arresting these violators with due vigilance and precision.

He added: Hunting tools and a large number of fish were seized from these illegal fishermen, confiscated and their files were handed over to judicial authorities for legal procedures.

In the end, Yousefi clarified: The honorable people of the province can send their reports at any hour of the day and night through the 1540 phone system of the province's environmental protection if they see any hunting and fishing violations.
