Hooshmand: Presence in the Field Must Go Hand in Hand with Jihad of Explanation and Enlightenment

ARDESTAN – The head of Ardestan's Islamic Propaganda Office said: People's presence in the field alone is not enough; each individual must play an active and effective role in family and society through enlightenment, clarifying facts, and addressing doubts.

Hojjat-ul-Islam Sajjad Houshmand said in a conversation with Mehr reporter: God Almighty warns believers in the Holy Qur'an not to follow the enemies, because this will lead to a return to the past and regret.

He added: We should not think that following the enemies can solve our problems or improve the economic and social conditions of the country. The experience of countries in the region, including Syria and Libya, shows that the enemies have not achieved anything for these countries.

The head of Ardestan Islamic Propaganda Department pointed out: The Holy Quran warns the believers to avoid the deception of the enemies and not to empty the field, because the enemy is waiting for our neglect and wants to prepare the ground for his attack by weakening the weapon, flag, province, solidarity and unity.

Houshmand clarified: the enemy is always trying to exploit our negligence; Therefore, we should be alert and aware and know that if we maintain alertness, God will be the best helper and supporter of the believers.

He stated: People's presence in the square alone is not enough, and each person who participates in these gatherings should play an active and effective role in their living environment. If we compare the population present in the square with the total population of the city, maybe our share is only five percent; Therefore, this population should play a role in society.

The head of Islamic Propaganda Department of Ardestan continued: Each of us can communicate with five or 10 other people, clear existing doubts and enlighten our family and social environment. Our activity should not be limited to being in the field, but we should be proactive and have a conscious and active stance against various issues.

Houshmand added: Businesses can participate in Jihad explanation in their shops by installing enlightening sentences, introducing useful books and publications, and using the opportunity to talk with customers. Also, cultural activists in banks, mosques, Basij bases, delegations, family groups and communication channels can play an effective role in this field by producing and publishing informative content.

He reminded: In addition to social and cultural activities, it is very important to strengthen belief and heart's faith in God. Amir al-Mu'minin Ali (a.s.) in a narration introduces the four characteristics of piety, ijtihad, chastity, and sincerity as the factors that help the Imam.

The head of Islamic Propaganda Department of Ardestan emphasized: The first characteristic is devotion and piety. People who consider themselves to be the Imam's friend should adhere to piety in their personal and social life. The second characteristic is effort and struggle; In the sense that helping the imam requires activity, effort and responsibility and is not limited only to outward appearance.

Houshmand noted: The third characteristic is chastity, which both men and women should pay attention to. Hijab is also considered a part of chastity, but the concept of chastity is broader and includes different dimensions of individual and social life.

Referring to the fourth characteristic, that is, endurance, he added: Today, considering the conditions of the region and international developments, it is especially important to maintain endurance and stand. We should consider the possibility of escalation of tensions and conflicts and not imagine that threats will end with the end of a political period or the holding of elections.

The head of the Ardestan Islamic Propaganda Department reminded: the enemy is waiting for our negligence and for this reason we must stand against conspiracies with perseverance and strong will. If the Iranian nation maintains its vigilance, unity and endurance, it can stand against the pressures and threats of the enemies.
