Closure of a Science and Research Branch Building; Gas Leak Denied

Classes at the Martyr Fakhrizadeh Building of the Science and Research Branch of Islamic Azad University have been suspended.

The classes of the Shahid Fakhrizadeh Building of Research Sciences Unit of Islamic Azad University were closed.

According to Mehr reporter, the Public Relations Department of Research Sciences Unit of Azad University announced about the release of news about a gas leak in this unit: The smell originated from the laboratory located behind the Shahid Fakhrizadeh building of the Faculty of Basic Sciences.

In this regard, fire department officials are investigating the issue, so far the issue of gas leakage has been denied, but the reason for this problem should be announced after an expert review by the fire department team.

Also, the classrooms of Fakhrizadeh building were completely evacuated and no one was injured.
