The first London TV showcase, featuring the newly merged sales arm Banijay-All3Media, has unveiled its program. London's premier TV show, which features the newly merged sales arm of Banijay -All3Media, has announced its programme.
Now that Big Brother retailer Baniji and The Traitors owner All3Media have merged, there's one less organizer for the releases, and the new group will bring their 265,000-hour catalog to the UK capital on Wednesday 24 February.
The founders of the show are now a trio of Banijay, Fremantle and ITV studios. The Banijay event will take place on the same day as ITV Studios at BAFTA Piccadilly and Odeon Luxe Leicester Square. Fremantle's is at the Odeon the next day. The ITV Studios event could come as it becomes independent from broadcaster ITV, which has been bought by Sky and is currently wading its way through the regulatory quagmire. Others who have set dates include Sony, Mediawan Rights, Beta Film and Keshet International.
A spokesperson for TV London said: “The London TV Show has become a key event in the international content calendar, bringing together buyers and distributors from across the industry for a week of discovery, conversation and deals. After our strongest year to date, we look forward to welcoming the global content community back to London in 2027. Every year since the shows' inception we have seen continued growth, demonstrating buyer appetite for this moment in the annual content calendar and underscoring the UK's continued role as a hub for international distribution.
The screenings run concurrently with the BBC Studio Fair in London, but no longer with MIP London, as MIP ends a few weeks later instead of the London Book Fair event.
