It seems that GTA 6 has become one of the central and recurring jokes in the new season of the South Park animated series.
After direct references to the new work of Rockstar Games in the opening two episodes of the 29th season, in the latest episode of this series with the meaningful phrase "Have you signed up for November?" (Are you registered for November)? A dialogue that, considering the background of this season's jokes, has been interpreted by the fans as an irony and a new reference to the release date of GTA 6 in November.
The third part of the twenty-ninth season of South Park, titled You Like That On Your Face, aired yesterday on Comedy Central, has no direct connection with GTA 6 in its story core. The main story of this episode revolves around the widespread phenomenon of Aura Battles and the efforts of Kyle's character to help his younger brother, Ike. However, the inclusion of a subtle nod to the month of November has once again pushed GTA 6 to the sidelines of this installment of the series.
Of course, this last reference has a subtle and fundamental difference with the previous ones. Unlike the first two episodes of the season, this new phrase does not directly mention the name of the game GTA 6, and on the surface, it could be a reference to the registration process for mid-term elections in the United States. However, what ties this dialogue to GTA 6 in the audience's mind is the ongoing joke that South Park has built around the events of November since the beginning of the season.
To better understand this issue, we should go back to the opening episode of this season entitled South American Biker Gangs; Where the characters of the story repeatedly expressed hope that the situation will improve with the arrival of November. It was later revealed that they do not mean election events by this eager anticipation, but they are impatiently waiting for the release of GTA 6. In one of the explicit dialogues of this episode, it is directly emphasized that the only reason November is important is because GTA 6 is coming out.
The scope of this creative joke became even bolder and wider in the second episode (Billionaire Weenietown). In this episode, several characters once again admit that their only hope to escape their current situation is to make it to November and experience GTA 6. In another sequence of the same episode, one of the characters claims that he counted on these events to such an extent that he even pre-purchased the expensive Ultimate version of the game. More interestingly, the concern and risk of data center power outages only becomes a disaster for the characters of the series when they realize that this outage may destroy their save files and progress in the GTA 6 game!
Accordingly, the question "Are you signed up for November?" In the third part, it finds a two-sided and intelligent function; On the surface, this sentence refers to the election, but for the regular audience who watched the previous two episodes, the keyword November has now become a metaphor for the feverish anticipation of the residents of South Park to experience GTA 6.
GTA 6 game will be released on 28 Aban (19 November) for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
The GTA game series has an adult age rating; Therefore, it is necessary for families to monitor the access of children and teenagers.
