During a trip to Stockholm, Sweden, the CEO of Nvidia said that artificial intelligence will eventually become one of the main pillars of all companies, and all companies will somehow become artificial intelligence companies. He also urged Europe to develop its artificial intelligence industry.
"Eventually, every single company will become an AI company," Jensen Huang said at an event in Europe recently. "All industries will be affected by artificial intelligence." Attending Stockholm was part of Huang's European tour, which will continue next week with a conference hosted by Nvidia in Berlin.
The CEO of Nvidia continued: "The important thing for us is to know that Europe should develop all layers of this technology." By this phrase, Huang meant the chain of artificial intelligence technology from data centers to chatbots and other applications. In a conversation with Ambassador Arjan, Hwang announced that his company has invested 8 billion dollars in Europe over the past year.
He continued: "We have strategically invested in different parts of this ecosystem; in very high-quality companies that we believe can contribute to the growth of the entire European ecosystem." He mentioned the British company Nscale, a provider of data center services and artificial intelligence cloud computing, and the Dutch company Neb i us, active in the field of cloud services, as examples of these investments.
Huang added: "In the past year alone, we have invested 8 billion dollars and we are planning another few billion dollars. "We are helping Europe build its own artificial intelligence ecosystem."
Huang had traveled to Stockholm to unveil the Spherical One supercomputer. This Swedish supercomputer uses Nvidia chips and is supposed to keep Sweden's sensitive data and technical expertise in-house.
