According to the report of Aria's Heritage reporter, Ali Khaksar announced this news on Saturday, Mehr 25th: In the meeting to form a specialized table for health tourism in Hamedan province, representatives of the University of Medical Sciences, the Medical System Organization, centers licensed to accept international patients (IPD), travel service offices active in the field of health tourism and facilitators were present.
The Deputy Director of Tourism of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Hamedan province added: Considering the inter-sectoral nature of health tourism, interaction and cooperation between medical complexes, tourism activists and other related institutions is one of the requirements for the development of this field, and the formation of this table can provide the basis for more synergy, coordination of activities and follow-up of existing issues and capacities.
He also announced the appointment of the secretary of the specialized health tourism desk of the province in this meeting and said: the appointment of the secretary is a step towards organizing affairs, following up on the approvals and creating coherence in the activities related to the health tourism of the province.
Referring to the treatment capacities of Hamedan, Khaksar said: This province has 11 IPD centers introduced in the field of accepting international patients, among them are Farshchian, Baath, Bo Ali and Atiyeh hospitals, Ofogh and Shafa surgical centers, Arad, Ainde and Ostadan dental clinics, and Maya beauty center.
He continued: The presence of these centers, along with the capacities of the private sector and tourism activists, provides a suitable basis for the development of health tourism in the province. The effective use of these capacities requires coordination between the providers of medical and tourism services, improving the quality of services, paying attention to the needs of international patients, and strengthening the information and acceptance processes.
