439 Tons of Chicken Shipped from Mazandaran to Tehran

Hossein Eslami, in an interview with Mehr reporter, referring to the statistics of the Provincial Slaughterhouses Association and the General Directorate of Veterinary Medicine, said: On the 20th of Mehr this year, 170,415 kilograms of chicken meat were sent to Tehran's fields and 72,376 kilograms were sent to stores in this city.

He added: In total, the amount of ready-to-cook chicken sent to Tehran's markets and stores reached 242,791 kilograms. Also, 89 thousand 300 pieces of live chicken were sent to Tehran for slaughter, and the total amount of chicken meat sent to this destination was 439 thousand 251 kilograms, according to the announced statistics.

Referring to the state of chicken distribution in the province, Eslami said: the amount of chicken meat distributed in Mazandaran reached 364 thousand 322 kilograms, including cuttings and heads.

The head of the vice president of commercial development and agricultural industries of Mazandaran Agricultural Jihad Organization continued: In addition to domestic production and distribution and sending to Tehran, ready-to-cook chicken meat is distributed through Golestan and Gilan provinces, as well as the chain stores of Afogh Korosh in the market of Mazandaran.

He also informed about sending 82 thousand 553 kilograms of ready-to-cook chicken meat to other provinces and said: In the section of sending live chicken to other destinations, 37 thousand 800 pieces have been sent to Semnan province, 21 thousand 800 pieces to Golestan province and 16 thousand pieces to other destinations.
