Exclusive: Disney+ and Hulu will stream Pave Studio's true crime video podcasts Clues and Mother Knows Murder on Windows exclusives ahead of wide release.

The two titles, which are part of Pave's Crime House sub-brand, are the company's first to be picked up by a major streaming platform. Seeing YouTube grow in the living room, Netflix, HBO Max, Peacock and more recently Disney+ have looked to add podcast programming as a cost-effective way to increase viewing time and engagement.

Pave Studios was founded by Max Cutler, who previously founded Parcast and became CEO of Spotify after the streaming giant acquired his company. Clues, hosted by Keelynn Moore, will be shown next Tuesday. Mother Knows Murder, hosted by The Rookie: Feds and Claws, star Niecy Nash and her daughter, actress Dia Nash, will premiere on November 9. Watch on Deadline

New episodes of both series will air on Disney Plus and Hulu the day before they are available on other podcast platforms.

Clues, which won a Webby earlier this year, promises to take viewers and listeners "deep into the world of infamous crimes and forensic breakthroughs." The new Mother Knows Murder podcast sees the Nashes screw up a real case while they sleep in bed.

Known for hosting Heart Starts Pounding and the recent Last Trace with Kaelyn Moore, Moore said Clues was "developed from day one with a streaming audience in mind. Our goal was to create a show with quality production and storytelling that would sit naturally alongside other premium content on a streamer like Disney+ and Hulu."

Cutler said the Disney streaming deal is "proof" of Crime House's audience-friendly, creator-led approach. He added that Disney is "the first place we expect these stories to go." "As streaming platforms increasingly look to add premium content from talented creators, Pave is well-positioned to be a content partner for these companies, and we're excited to work with Disney to bring our shows to their streaming viewers."
