On the occasion of Hafez Commemoration Day, the mural at Shiraz's Imam Hussein (AS) Square was unveiled with a new design emphasizing Shiraz's cultural identity, national solidarity, and public participation in social life.

Simultaneously with Hafez commemoration day, the mural of Imam Hossein (AS) square of Shiraz was unveiled with a new design emphasizing the cultural identity of Shiraz, national solidarity and the presence of people in the social arena.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan, the mural painting in Imam Hossein (PBUH) Square of Shiraz was changed with a new design titled "Niknahad People" at the same time as the commemoration day of the Prophet of the Unseen, Hafez Shirazi. A work that places Hafiziyah in the center of the image and besides referring to the cultural and literary identity of Shiraz, depicts the manifestations of the presence and participation of the people.

In this mural, Hafez's tomb is placed in the center of the composition as one of the enduring symbols of the city of poetry and literature. In different parts of the work, the Iranian flag, people's populations, the presence of men and women in the public arena, and scenes of people's presence on the street can be seen; Elements that together represent the link between cultural identity, national identity and social participation.

The writing center of this work is a verse by Hafez, which forms the main concept of the mural by emphasizing virtue and human values:

"Hafiz, the good institution of your life, will rise to you."

May the lives of the people be sacrificed"

The choice of this verse, along with the image of Hafez, while maintaining the position of Hafez in Persian culture and literature, emphasizes the importance of good institutions and moral virtues in social life.

This mural was executed with digital painting by Mohammad Hossein Sassani, calligraphy by Amir Akbari and artistic management by Mohammad Reza Khosravani-Tabar in the page studio.
