Explaining the achievements of his trip to Armenia and attending international meetings related to the environment, the president emphasized the necessity of protecting biodiversity, fighting environmental degradation and strengthening regional cooperation.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan Masoud Medzikian, after returning from his trip to Armenia and attending and speaking at the Biodiversity Summit in this country, the President, referring to the holding of international summits in Turkmenistan and Armenia, said: During recent trips, important issues such as the reduction of the water level of the Caspian Sea, environmental pollution and threats to biodiversity were discussed and investigated. These issues show that protecting the environment is a common responsibility and an undeniable necessity for all countries in the world.

According to the government's information base, the president emphasized that the earth is the common home of all humans and stated: We live in this house and we are responsible for its preservation for future generations. Each of the living organisms has an essential role in the life cycle, and any disturbance in this cycle can endanger the lives of humans. If we cannot protect the environment, we will face heavy and irreparable consequences of the destruction of nature in the future.

Referring to the issues raised in the international environmental summits, the doctors mentioned: In these meetings, the issue of biodiversity and solutions to prevent environmental destruction were taken into consideration, and an opportunity was provided for experts and officials of different countries to discuss common challenges and achieve a common understanding and language to deal with these threats.

Criticizing the environmental consequences of wars and military conflicts, the president added: The powers that talk about civilization and human rights, in practice, fuel the destruction of the environment with their actions. Wars cause extensive damage to forests, air, soil, land and other parts of nature, and the destructive effects of these actions are not limited to the geographical borders of a country.

Stating that the destruction of the environment does not differentiate nations and borders from each other, Median stated: Damage to this common home will affect all human beings; Therefore, it is necessary for the countries of the world to pay serious attention to preserving the environment and protecting natural resources for future generations by strengthening joint cooperation.

In describing his bilateral consultations on the sidelines of this trip, the President also said: In the meeting with the Prime Minister of Armenia, while reviewing the existing interactions and future plans, we discussed the drafting of a joint strategic document. It was decided that the experts of the two countries will hold specialized meetings to examine related issues and provide the necessary grounds for advancing cooperation.

Referring to the conversation with the Prime Minister of Georgia, the doctors emphasized the shared historical and cultural capacities between the two nations and said: "The presence of Iranians of Georgian descent in parts of the country, including Fereydunshahr, shows the long-standing ties between the two nations." Links that can still be seen in the names, dialects and cultural identity of a part of Iranian people.

Referring to the common capacities of Iran, Armenia and Georgia to expand regional cooperation, the president added: In these talks, the issue of developing communication and transit routes and connecting the geographical capacities of both sides to different regions, including Europe, the Persian Gulf, Afghanistan, India and other countries of the region, was taken into consideration. These collaborations can provide new opportunities for the development of economic, cultural, social and political relations.

The doctors also informed about the conversation with Emomali Rahman, the president of Tajikistan, on the sidelines of the meetings and stated: These meetings and consultations provided a good opportunity to strengthen the interactions between the countries of the region and pursue areas of joint cooperation.

In summarizing the achievements of this trip, the President emphasized: the set of dialogues and communications established, on the one hand, can help strengthen international cooperation for the protection of the environment and biodiversity, and on the other hand, lay the foundation for the development of constructive and stable relations between Iran and the countries of the region.
