Zahedan – Sistan and Baluchestan Cyber Police Chief warned about fake Kalabarg self-declaration text messages and urged citizens to check the sender IDs, avoid clicking links, and protect their personal information.
Zahedan- The head of FATA police of Sistan and Baluchistan warned about the fake text messages of Kalaberg, and asked the citizens to be careful about their information by checking the number of the text messages and refraining from clicking on the links.
In a conversation with Mehr's reporter, Hassan Kikha, referring to the new methods of cyber fraud under the cover of Kalaberg's plan, stated: SMS notification about Kalaberg's self-declaration is done only from the valid YARANEH-IRI number, and the SMS sent from unknown and miscellaneous numbers are not valid.
The chief of FATA police of Sistan and Baluchistan added: Some profit-seeking people encourage citizens to click on fake links to steal their personal and bank information by sending text messages with titles such as Kalaberg registration and livelihood subsidy.
He emphasized: Before taking any action, citizens should carefully check the SMS number and avoid opening suspicious links or entering bank and personal information on anonymous pages.
At the end, Kikha urged the citizens to follow the security recommendations and increase cyber awareness, be careful of fraudsters' tricks, and if they encounter any suspicious cases, follow up the matter through the official sources of the FATA police.
