Payment of immediate reward to the discoverers of smuggled fuel

Iranian customs issued instructions for immediate payment of rewards to the discoverers of smuggled fuel.

According to Arjan's ambassador, Reza Goli, Director General of Countering Organized Crimes of Iran Customs, announced the instructions for immediate reward for the discovery of smuggled fuel and the guidelines for the resources and expenses resulting from these discoveries for implementation.

According to this instruction, the volume of discoveries must be verified with the official warehouse invoice issued by the company and the approval of the discovery device and the definitive rulings of the investigating authorities.

Also, according to the amendment of Clause "A" of Article 6 of the Rules of Procedure for sources and expenses resulting from the discovery of smuggled fuel, for the delivery of discovered petroleum products to the refinery company, up to 15% of the purchase price of the discovered product can be paid as a bonus to the discovery agents.

According to the instant reward instructions, after the discovery, the provincial detective agencies are required to prepare and send the minutes of the discovery meeting, the image of the company's warehouse bill, and the summary report of the discovery along with the case number. The minutes of the meeting should also be prepared in the special forms notified of the resolution of the 124th headquarters meeting.

This instruction also emphasizes on compliance with the conditions and examples of strong suspicion diagnosis and other prescribed criteria. The date of filing the case in the hearing authority should be on April 1, 1405 or after.

According to Article 6, the provincial investigator must send the written opinion of the provincial commission and the representative of the investigating authority to the central investigator within two working days regarding the approval or rejection of the minutes and the result of the action.

Payment of instant bonus is subject to the approval of all members in the meeting minutes. If the conditions are approved, the central explorer organization will send the documents to the secretariat of the working group so that the necessary measures for payment can be taken.

Also, if a response is not sent by the provincial commission or investigating authority within two working days, the provincial investigative body must submit the documents to the central investigative organization so that the report and approved documents can be reflected to the secretariat of the working group and the bonus payment process will be followed.

According to Article 11, the discovery agency is obliged to send the periodic payment report of the instant bonus to the discovery agents to the secretariat of the working group.
