In this meeting, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Council, emphasized the necessity of forming a common understanding between the government and the parliament about the economic conditions of the country, and said: The most important point that we should pay attention to is the necessity of common thinking and having a common understanding of the current situation and the future conditions.

He stated that we have passed the first six months of the year and now we have experience of this period. Based on this, we have to plan for the next six months by carefully evaluating the past events, he added: both the government and the parliament and all institutions are trying to manage the situation and in this field, it is necessary to make a decision with a more detailed look and based on the evaluation of the situation.

Emphasizing that we must determine the scenario for the next six months, and if we agree on this, we can have a better design for it, he said: Along with issues such as compensation for damages, supply of raw materials, and issues of the industry sector, improving the livelihood of the people and the armed forces are two important priorities that must be seriously considered.

In this context, he emphasized: the first issue is that the decisions we make should be such that the people's table is the last place that is affected by sanctions and war, and it is also the first place that the right management decision has a positive effect on. In this context, we have to aim correctly and direct the resources to the point we want.

The Head of the Legislature added: As someone who has managed crises since the first days of the revolution and has learned crisis management, I say with all my heart that in times of crisis, there are the greatest opportunities for us and we should not neglect this issue.

The Speaker of the Islamic Council emphasized that today the economic war is more important than the cognitive, military and cyber wars and the economic war is the main focus of the war against us, and said: In the economic war, our main challenge is the challenge of decision-making, management and stable governance.

Stating that in war conditions, we must accept responsibility, make decisions and bravely defend those who are working, he said: "Don't hesitate, if we move forward in harmony in this group, we can put the parliament and the government on the same axis in the economic field and move forward."

Stating that the most important priority in all decisions is the livelihood of the people and the armed forces, Qalibaf said: We must make the people's livelihood the last place that is affected by the pressure of war and sanctions, and the first positive result of the decisions is on the people's table. This view should also exist in the economic growth, reconstruction and liquidity provision of the industry sector.
