UK accelerates delivery of LMM missiles to Kyiv - Prime Minister's Office

The delivery is intended "to meet Ukraine's most urgent winter needs."

London, October 14. /TASS/. British Prime Minister Andy Burnham's office announced in a statement that Britain will expedite the delivery of light multi-purpose missiles (LMM) to Ukraine.

"The UK is reducing its support for Ukraine, including the delivery of £45m ($60m - TASS) surface-to-air missiles," it said.

The office said: "The UK has already committed £1.6 billion to deliver more than 5,000 LMMs to Ukraine over the next four years, and will accelerate £10 million of a £45 million package of missiles <…> to meet Ukraine's most urgent winter needs."

The statement from Burnham's office was released ahead of his meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky in London on October 14.
