Housing Applicants Screened in Eastern Semnan; Place of Residence Becomes Criterion for Land Allocation
SHAHROUD – Eastern Semnan's Director-General of Roads and Urban Development stressed the need for parallel development of cities and villages. He said applicants' place of residence is the basis for land allocation under the Youth Population Plan.
Shahroud- Director General of Roads and Urban Development in the East of Semnan Province, emphasizing the need for the simultaneous development of cities and villages, said: the residence of the applicants is the basis for the allocation of land in the population youth plan.
In a conversation with Mehr reporter, Amir Omidi said about the text messages sent to some applicants of the National Housing Movement in the population youth plan and the issue of giving land in villages instead of cities: According to the law of the National Housing Movement, the government is obliged to hand over land to people in their places of residence.
He stated that the transfer of land in the form of the National Housing Movement, like other land plans, is subject to rules and criteria, including the detailed plan and the comprehensive urban plan, and added: In the cities of Shahrood and Miami, the transfer of land is also done based on the same regulations.
Some village residents have registered to receive land in bigger cities
Director General of Roads and Urban Development of East Semnan province, referring to the investigation of the applicants for the youth plan of the population in the form of the National Housing Movement, said: During these investigations, it was found that some residents of the villages around the cities or the peripheral cities of the provincial centers have registered to receive land in bigger cities.
Emphasizing that this issue is not specific to Shahrood and Miami and is also observed at the national level, Omidi added: Registration of land requests in big cities by people whose residence is in nearby villages is not in line with the goal of the legislator to make people own houses in their place of residence.
He stated that housing policies are not only focused on the development of cities and the development of villages should also be considered along with cities, he explained: In the approvals of the Housing Council of the country, the Ministry of Health's health apple system, in which the health information of families is recorded, is considered as a basis for checking the place of receiving health services of the applicants, therefore, based on this, the information about the place of receiving the services is requested from the universities of medical sciences and announced to Roads and Urban Planning.
The place of receiving health services is the criterion for checking people's residence
The Director General of Roads and Urban Development in the East of Semnan Province continued: Shahrood University of Medical Sciences in Shahrood and Miami also determines the location of health services for the applicants of the National Housing Movement, and this information is used as a criterion for the road and city development to check people's residences.
Referring to the results of the refinement conducted in these two cities, Omidi stated: It was found that some people from the surrounding cities and villages, including Tarood and Kalpoosh, have registered to receive land in the city of Shahrood. While, based on the information of Sib system, they receive their health services at their place of residence in the same villages.
He added: Based on this, these people are not considered to be residents of Shahrood city, and the land will be assigned to them in their place of residence.
