Ocarina of Time Remake Doesn't Give Fans the Bombchu-Bowling Justice Baddie They Wanted

But Gut's Updated Look Has Plenty of Vibe

But her updated goth look has a lot of vibes

Nintendo Switch 2 The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time

There is one Ocarina of Tim e character that I was looking forward to seeing in the new remake more than anyone else: The Bombchu Bowling Alley Operator. He's my hero, somehow managing to do the radical act of relaxation while that funky carnival tune blares over his facility's speakers. And he's a damn badass. Top cut! Blue pixie cut with side bangs! Those light lips! Bad to the end. Even in his 3DS incarnation of Ocarina, he maintains Patuti's pinnacle status.

He's so damn iconic that people made it a point to find him during Nintendo's recent handheld preview event.

Anyway, I checked the most important thing: he's still there

Seeing him in the Ocarina remake for hella hype. It's like seeing one of your first loves for the first time in decades. They are bigger and not as you remember them, but still beautiful. I like his updated style with new features that make him more of a personality. Her black cuffs and dark nail polish add a touch of goth, which is enhanced by the deeper pinks and purples on her new knit top. Now I can believe that he is an expert in recreational demolitions.

But I have to say, his serve is a little less than his original polygon. Back in the day, developers had to do more with less, and his makeup and expressions in particular make him look a lot more emotional than the original. He's badass on the N64 (even with his eyes closed!) and the same on the Switch 2.

I love her and I'm glad she's back, even if, like Link, she doesn't look like she did back in the day.

Zelda: Ocarina Of Time previews say simplified controls and other improvements breathe new life into a classic.

Hands-on previews praise Nintendo for adding modern conventions

The latest trailer for The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time Remake shows off a lot of the old, but some amazing new stuff.

The Switch 2 remake is mostly a faithful remake of the N64 classic, but it makes it easier to face old enemies once again.

Unlike Sony, the Nintendo Exec says the Switch 2 Maker has no plans to drop the physical one: "We know how much fans enjoy it."

Game key cards have helped the company bridge this gap
