Former Khaybar Captain Becomes Face of Persepolis Poster!

Hossein Abarghouei, ahead of his match against his former club, has become the main face of the Persepolis poster and will have another chance to feature in the starting lineup.

According to "Varzesh Se", Persepolis club welcomed the delayed match against Khyber Khorramabad by publishing a different poster. In this design, Hossein Abargoui stands in front of the canvas with a red shirt, brush and color palette and draws the image of the skyscraper castle. Khorramabad historical building can be seen in the background of the poster so that the atmosphere of the host city has a strong presence in the design of this competition.

The choice of Abarqoui for this poster has an interesting connection with his history in Khyber. Before joining Persepolis, this defender was one of the important pieces of the Khorramabadi team and wore the captain's armband. He played a role in Khyber's promotion to the Premier League and finally, in the summer of 1404, after an agreement between the two clubs, he went to Persepolis. Now the image of the former captain of Khyber is printed on the poster of this team's opponent.

In his first season in Persepolis, Abargoui played 18 times in the Premier League and also had the opportunity to participate in the national team camp. However, the start of the new season was associated with less opportunity for him and before the meeting with Sanat Naft, he played only in the last 30 minutes of the match against Shams-Azer. The meeting with Abadani team finally gave him the opportunity to return to the main team.

Now, with the injury of Mohammad Hossein Kananizadegan and Daniyal Iri, it is expected that Abargoui will be in the regular lineup against Khyber and will once again form the pair of Persepolis' defense line alongside Mohammad Mehdi Zare. In this way, the confrontation with the former team has been accompanied by an important opportunity for him to continue being in the team.

Of course, the previous game was accompanied by a bitter incident for this defender. In the 66th minute of the match against Sanat Naft, the ball sent from the corner hit Abargoui after hitting Mohammad Hossein Basri and entered the goal of Persepolis. The goal was recorded as an own goal in the referees' official report, although the Reds ended up winning the match 3–1.

Now Abargoui returns to Khorramabad to play against the team from which he reached Persepolis. The defender, who is busy painting the symbol of this city in the poster, and on the field, has a chance to continue his return to the main line-up in front of the fans of his former team with a confident performance.
