Improvement of 8 highways in Semnan province; The infrastructure is ready for winter

Semnan- The head of the Technical and Supervision Department of the General Directorate of Roads and Road Transport of Semnan province announced the implementation of the improvement of eight road crossings and said: The aim of the plan is to prepare for autumn and winter rains.

According to Mehr reporter, Majid Hemti, during his visit to Semnan highways on Saturday morning, announced the implementation of the restoration and improvement of eight roadside highways in this province and said: These measures are being carried out with the aim of improving the conditions for the deployment of road forces and increasing preparation for the implementation of winter operations.

Referring to the necessity of preparing road support infrastructures before the onset of rains, he said: On the eve of the autumn and winter rains, the improvement of the provincial roads is on the agenda with a focus on providing suitable conditions for the operation of operational forces.

The head of the Technical and Supervision Department of the General Directorate of Roads and Road Transport of Semnan province explained: Hableroud, Ahavan, Rasem Rudbar, Chashem, Sanglakhosr, Dibaj, Sarkvir and Cheshme Ali highways are the eight target centers of this project, whose renovation, restoration and improvement operations are underway with a credit amounting to 90 billion Rials.

Emphasizing on the role of road centers in supporting winter road operations, Hemmati said: the improvement of these centers provides the necessary conditions for deploying operational forces and supporting road operations in adverse weather conditions.

He pointed out that the purpose of implementing this project is to increase the readiness of road forces to manage winter weather conditions and provide better services to road users in order to facilitate safe traffic in the transport axes of Semnan province.
