Pakhtakor vs Al-Qadsiah in AFC Elite League: 1-1 Draw

Uzbekistan's Pakhtakor and Saudi Arabia's Al-Qadsiah drew 1-1 in Matchday 2 of the AFC Elite League. Al-Qadsiah scored in the 35th minute, but the hosts equalized in the closing minutes with a penalty by Dastanbek Hamdamov.

The match between Uzbekistan's Pakhtakor and Saudi Arabia's Al-Qadisiya in the second week of the Asian Elite League ended with a 1-1 draw.

According to Ambassador Arjan, in the first match of the second week of the group stage of the Asian Elite League, the teams of Pakhtakor of Uzbekistan and Al-Qadisiya of Saudi Arabia faced each other.

Pakhtakor, who had drawn 1-1 in their first match against Al-Ahly of Saudi Arabia, the champion of the last two editions of the Asian Elite League, had a lot of motivation to win at home against Al-Qadisiyah.

In its first match, Al-Qadisiyah had managed to defeat Emirates with a result of 2-1 at Al-Wasl's house, and entered the field with favorable conditions.

Pakhtakor, who played with the support of home fans, started the match offensively, but Al-Qadisiye gradually dominated the game and scored a goal in the 35th minute by Tijani Reinders, the midfielder of the Dutch national team.

After receiving the goal, Pakhtakor prepared dangerous attacks to compensate for the result, and in the 45th minute, he managed to open the gate of Al-Qadisiya, but this goal was rejected by the video assistant referee after reviewing the scene.

In the second half, the host, who did not want to lose this match, put a more attacking game on the agenda, and Al-Qadisiyeh tried to protect the goal with a defensive game.

While there were only 2 minutes to the end of the match, the mistake of the defender of Al-Qadsiyeh on the attacker of Pakhtakor caused the referee to blow his whistle to announce a penalty. Dastanbek Hamdemov was behind the ball and tied the game by scoring a penalty kick.

Morteza Pouraliganji, the veteran Iranian football defender, was present in the Pakhtakor team in this match and was substituted in the 82nd minute.
