338 environmental inspections in Isfahan city; 256 pollution removal warnings issued

Isfahan – The head of the Isfahan County Department of Environment said: 338 environmental inspections of industrial, mining and service units in this county were carried out during the first six months of this year, and the operation of three air-polluting units was prevented.

Isfahan- The head of Environmental Protection Department of Isfahan city said: 338 environmental monitoring of the industrial, mining and service units of this city were carried out in the first 6 months of this year and the activity of three air polluting units was prevented.

In a conversation with Mehr reporter, Mehdi Pourqasem stated that in the first 6 months of this year, 338 field visits and environmental monitoring of industrial, mining and service units in Isfahan city were carried out, stating that: in this period, 256 pollution removal notices were issued and 55 complaints were investigated.

He pointed out that 411 environmental queries have also been answered during this period.

The head of Environmental Protection Department of Isfahan city added: 6 cases of judicial follow-up have been carried out and the final decision has not yet been issued. However, in three cases, the activity of air polluting units has been prevented until decontamination.

Pourqasem emphasized: continuous monitoring of industrial, mining and service units and follow-up of pollution removal was one of the priorities of this department in the first half of this year.
