While fans wait for the former champion's return to the ring, the WWE star is focused on Hollywood.

Drew McIntyre says he weighs 285 pounds and is in the best shape of his life, but the timeline for his return to WWE is uncertain amid his Hollywood ambitions.

WWE's Drew McIntyre was embarrassed when asked about his in-ring return

WWE star Drew McIntyre plays the odd part when asked about his return to the ring in an interview with Outkick.

The last time anyone saw Drew McIntyre in a WWE ring was at WrestleMania 42 when he and Jacob Fatou fought in an unsanctioned street fight.

Almost six months have passed since this competition was held. McIntyre has worked on other projects during this time, including the micro-drama series Shadow Agent. He, actor Chase Matheson and other WWE Superstars will be on the show, which will take place on October 23rd.

OutKick Dropkick asked McIntyre in a recent interview when fans can expect him to return to the ring.

"I'm as big as ever. I'm 285, right? And I'm 10 pounds bigger than I was for 'Shadow Agent.' I'm in the best shape of my life," he said. "The other day I posted myself running on the ropes, and I'm holding myself in a loop. I'm always ready. I think it's had over 8 million views, just a couple of jump ropes on my social media platforms.

But for now, I'm focused on Hollywood Drew. So, we'll see. We will see."

When McIntyre returns to WWE programming, it is unclear which brand he will be on. McIntyre was on SmackDown when he feuded with Fatou. He also briefly held the WWE Undisputed Championship before dropping it to Cody Rhodes in March.

WrestleVotes Radio reported that McIntyre may return to Raw after his return to action.

Right now, the SmackDown Championship picture has a legitimate bump at the top. Sami Zayn currently holds the WWE Undisputed Championship and has a number of superstars on his doorstep vying for a title shot.

Roman Reigns holds the World Heavyweight Championship on Raw. He dispatched LA Knight at Money in the Bank on Saturday night. Royce Keys may now represent his #1 contender as the 946 faction has battled The Bloodline for the past month.

Penta is also a wild card for both lists. He won the men's Money in the Bank ladder match, which gives him a title shot at his choosing.

Currently, the WWE Universe is waiting for McIntyre's triumphant return.
