The Florida State football program is sending a clear message to one of its top recruits after his arrest earlier this week.

Chuck Kennen, the top member of this year's class, is no longer on the team after being arrested on two felony charges.

According to UPI, officers said Kennon was traveling 79 mph in a 50 mph zone in Tampa early Sunday morning, and when officers approached the vehicle, they suddenly found themselves on a chase at speeds of more than 150 mph.

Kennon's Dodge Durango suffered a flat tire, leading to Kennon attempting to flee on foot into an industrial plant. During the search, police found his phone and a woman in a bodysuit "covered in dirt, blood and grass stains" with a tear on her arm. He told the officers that he asked to get out of the car more than 10 times and was taken into custody.

Kennon, who is currently being held at the Falkenburg Road Jail, was released from the program for conduct detrimental to the team, the school said.
