Five Weeks In, Every Team Has Filed Letters; Referee Complaints Pile Up in League One!

After five weeks of First Division competition, every club has protested the referees' performance at least once.

According to "Varzeh Se", at the beginning of the new season of the first division league, the referee committee of the Football Federation, with the aim of introducing a new generation to the field of refereeing, preferred to use more young and famous referees in the matches. However, this youthful project faced serious challenges and the numerous and influential mistakes of these referees during the games caused a wave of dissatisfaction.

These mistakes caused the teams in the league to show strong reactions. Apart from the critical interviews of the head coaches of different teams at the end of the matches, the scope of these complaints was also extended to official correspondence; So that after only five weeks of the matches, most of the clubs in separate correspondence with the football federation protested the level of judgments and demanded the serious involvement and follow-up of the referees' committee.

Following this amount of criticism, the jury committee finally decided to modify its process. With the announcement of the names of the refereeing teams in the sixth week of the first division league, it became clear that this committee preferred to increase the number of experienced referees in the matches and thus, the opportunity to whistle was temporarily and largely taken away from the young referees.

It seems that with this change of strategy and returning the whistle of the matches to the hands of the field referees, the referees committee is trying to reduce refereeing mistakes in the first division league to the lowest possible level and prevent the continuation of the margins and tensions in the matches.
