Landry Kiffin is the poster child for SEC fans chanting "SEC, SEC, SEC" before the NIL went down on the field.

Choose a team! As his father's season spiraled out of control Saturday night in Lexington, Kentucky, Landry was in Texas playing for the No. 1 team in the nation in Red River. When asked about his ability to pick a winning team in the SEC, Landry tweeted, "You win some and you lose some."

In another video, Landry added, "And go Tigers. When the game starts, we'll be watching at a bar."

Why go to a UT game and wear UT colors when your dad has to play for the team on November 14th? "Spy," he wrote.

Imagine Nick Saban's daughter openly rooting for a rival SEC program in 2010, while her father was in the middle of absolute wars to win. The league is where we are with this TikTok generation. Just like the players and coaches in the NIL era, the influencers are not loyal.

LSU has beaten a terrible Clemson program and a terrible Texas A&M team. Even the biggest of you SEC hosts know that LSU shouldn't get that respect.

Kinsey: Based on my research, I don't think there's ever been a mother-daughter back-to-back reported to work an NFL game. Going further, the NFL, as far as I know, has never heard of a TRIO. Melissa's daughters are twins. One goes to Auburn and the other to Stanford.

NFL QB & Cheerleader Sister believed to be the league's first sibling duo, fight boat ramp and house Eddie George.

– The Wolf Enters Nebraska: I read Screencaps Thursday and saw what you wrote about the signs changing views in yards. I definitely wasn't when I read it. It never affects my vote. On Friday morning, I was taking my daughter to school and in the yard of a leftist house I saw a sign for a candidate I know and wanted me to vote for him, and now I am yes, my opinion is changing. The boy I thought I was voting for was the father of a boy I worked with a few years ago. I met the father a few times and he was a nice guy, so I agreed to vote for him. I'll vote for the other side after I've considered what he stands for. I'm glad the left house had its sign or I would never have looked at him and voted for the wrong person.

- General X. Warren in Florida has a message for the Dolphins: Congratulations to the Bengals at W.

I hope someone in the Ross family, owners of the Miami Dolphins, sees this. Selling the team! No one trusts you to make good decisions. No coach wants to work for you, regardless of the money, because the environment is so toxic. But you earn a lot of money to take care of (the stadium). Sell the team to an owner who cares and save the legacy! We the fans should demand more, per Armando last year.

I'd say we'd protest, but Mrs. Gen X Warren M is a Lions fan, so we're going to a Lions game in Miami next month…

Susan Jay says: I truly believe the Dallas Cowboys will not be a winning team until Jerry is gone and Dak is replaced. I know I know he has a great pass percentage, but he just can't do it when it matters. I'm 67 years old and have been a Cowboys fan for as long as I can remember, but I don't expect them to win these days. It's really sad!

Golf integrity is one of the biggest issues in our lives right now

How do I know? Wait until you see how many emails this topic generates over the weekend. Normally, I get maybe six emails about a hot topic over the course of a weekend because you guys have lives. This weekend was completely different. We have a hot topic ourselves.

- Kevin W emails: I love this question about golf integrity. I belong to a private club and this is a constant debate. We like other clubs to have a 'men's day' where all the tee times of the day put money in a pot and play different games. This is where the convenience of technology created a problem. We, like you, and many other golf clubs, started using Golf Genius. Good and easy to enter scores. However, it will also post scores as they happen.

So, what happens when the kids who leave early get good grades? The late guys see the number they have to hit and BINGO, suddenly 5 feet is good, and those groups take it all.

Our club's first solution to solve this problem was to buy a very expensive software called CAP patrol from a group of data scientists. It was basically a socialist version of golf handicapping that punished good golfers to level the playing field for higher handicappers. It picks the low rounds and says you are better than your index or else you should be cheating. There were too many other factors, and no one understood the algorithm of who had a cap and who didn't, and the company didn't disclose it. It is very popular among private clubs on the East and West coasts. We quickly dismissed it.

The simple solution this year was to go old school and ditch the live scoreboard. The issue has been proven to a large extent

In general, if you want to make short balls, always have a money game. My group of kids rarely, if ever, just goes out and plays a round. We always have some dollars on the line. Even if it's just a few bucks, it keeps the integrity there because a short ball can change the game quickly.

– Rural MN Dave agrees: For years I played in a group that played the strict rules of golf and didn't play. One member of the group was playing on a 9 handicap but was really closer to a 6. The strength of his game was chipping and putting. One day he had an 18-inch fly ball with several shells mounted on it. He walked up to the ball putt, took his time and went through his routine, and cold-bowed it, never even touching the hole. He looked up red-faced and said, "And that's why we're not making any moves!"

– Michael in Bossier City, Louisiana Your recent article about shaving golf scores did not shock me in the least. I believe that game balls really change one's score when playing in the same conditions. However, not all course conditions are equal. Are you playing a city course at Goat Farm or a private course close to PGA standards? I'd love to see a professional golfer score scratch or better on the town course I play regularly. Bare paths and tree roots sticking out in all directions.

Get the ball rolling a bit to see how many blades of grass remain in fairways or safety away from tree roots where three inches of exposed surface becomes necessary for sanity. You are still responsible for the next golf shot. Now, I've played in regional and state tournaments that mark a tenth of my course as a no-play zone because of too many empty or root zones. Again, I don't disagree with you on most of your game points. If you're behind a tree or in the rough, you need to hit the best way out and onto the green to shut it down.

Remember more! I'm a 6.8 handicap where I play a fairly good city course other than the tree root issues and I play Robert Trent courses which result in roughly equivalent results. Yes, plugging the rough track, moving the ball to solve tree problems and catching gamey balls hides one's true ability. However, having a lower fake handicap that most tournaments only require 85% to avoid playing in the sand will ultimately hurt a delusional golfer.

Well, I hope you have time to read my review.

- Joyce tells us about his club's game rule: Just think how many games and championships Ohio State would have won if the 3-foot rule for field goals and touchdowns had been enforced.

Last year our women's golf league finally adopted a 6-inch game rule, a measurement we can easily imagine.

Is the weather in the Smoky Mountains, where all the covid links moved, really overrated?

Look at the map and then look at northwest Ohio where I live compared to the heart of the Smoky Mountains. I never thought I'd be in a better, comfortable climate compared to the Smokies, but the data says otherwise.

- Chris B in NC, ex-Florida, tells me: Here in the Smokies at 5000', we often won't hit 60 until sometime in March or even April later this month. Also, it rains a lot, so everything here is very lush and green compared to the Rockies. It is very rare to have a warm and clear day during these months.

As for South Florida: Highs will reach above 87 in early May and won't drop until around Thanksgiving. The east coast is a little warmer than the west, but you've been on the gulf side in the summer. It has steamed
