Tehran Awaits Autumn Rains / Meteorology Issues Warning

The Tehran Provincial Meteorological Department reported that a precipitation system will enter the province from Saturday night, a system that could affect weather conditions in the northern parts of the capital from Sunday.

Ambassador Arjan: The General Directorate of Meteorology of Tehran province announced the arrival of a rain system in the province from Saturday night; A system that can affect the weather conditions of the northern regions of the capital from Sunday.

The General Department of Meteorology of Tehran province announced: From Saturday night (October 25) with the penetration of a rain system, the clouds will gradually increase and on Sunday (October 26) scattered showers are expected in the northern regions.

Based on the analysis of synoptic patterns and the review of forecast maps, during the next five days, the sky of Tehran province is expected to be slightly cloudy to partly cloudy, in some hours with increasing clouds and wind, also during this period, scattered showers are not far off in the highlands of the province, especially in the upper reaches.

Until noon today (October 22), due to the absence of significant wind in urban areas, especially in the central and southern areas of Tehran, a relative decrease in air quality is expected. There is a significant lack of wind and a relative reduction in air quality in the central and southern areas of Tehran from Thursday to noon on Friday (October 23 to 24).

In the afternoon of Wednesday and Friday in the southern half and western regions, moderate to relatively strong winds are expected in some hours, in the southern and western borders with the possibility of temporary dust and in the heights, relatively strong to strong winds are expected, which will lead to a relative improvement in air quality.

On Friday, a relative increase in temperature is expected, especially in the southern half and central regions of the province. From Saturday night, with the penetration of a rain system, a gradual increase in clouds and scattered showers are expected in the northern regions on Sunday.

The sky in Tehran tomorrow (October 23) will be clear to slightly cloudy and foggy in the morning, in the afternoon it will be windy with a minimum temperature of 20 and a maximum temperature of 28 degrees Celsius, and on Friday (October 24) it will be slightly cloudy and foggy in the afternoon, with a minimum temperature of 20 and a maximum temperature of 31 degrees Celsius.
