The first advanced X-ray detection system of economic security police in Bushehr Province has gone into operation at the Salahi checkpoint in Dashtestan County, aimed at speeding up commercial cargo inspections, improving accuracy in checking heavy vehicles, and bolstering the fight against smuggling of goods and currency.

The first advanced X-ray detector system of the Economic Security Police in Bushehr province was put into operation in the Salahi checkpoint of Dashtestan with the aim of speeding up the control of commercial shipments, increasing the accuracy of inspection of heavy vehicles and strengthening the fight against smuggling of goods and currency.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan Bushehr, Sardar Hossein Rahimi, head of Faraja Economic Security Police, announced the launch of the first advanced X-ray detector system of Economic Security Police in Bushehr province and stated: This system has been used in Salahi stop and inspection of Dashtestan city with the aim of improving and speeding up the control and inspection process of commercial shipments.

Referring to the strategic location of this stop and inspection, he said: This center is one of the three main stations of Bushehr province and is located on the road connecting the southern provinces with the center of the country. Therefore, controlling the traffic of heavy vehicles and identifying smuggled goods are among its important missions.

The head of the Faraja Economic Security Police stated that the installation of this system has provided the possibility of faster and non-contact control of heavy vehicle shipments, and added: Using new technologies and artificial intelligence capabilities is seriously on the agenda of Faraja, especially the Economic Security Police.

Referring to the volume and variety of commercial shipments in the export and import sectors, Rahimi stated: Controlling these shipments with traditional methods does not meet today's needs, and the use of modern equipment and technologies is necessary to increase the accuracy and speed of inspection. Accordingly, equipping this station and other bottlenecks for the passage of commercial cargoes has been included in the program.

He emphasized: The use of detection systems can improve the operational and technical capabilities of the police in dealing with the smuggling of goods and currency. This equipment is also beneficial to businessmen and economic activists and by speeding up the examination of shipments, it provides the basis for faster clearance of goods.

Referring to the technical capability of the new system, the head of the Faraja Economic Security Police said: This device is one of the high-speed truck systems and can scan a heavy vehicle with high accuracy and completely within 15 seconds to one minute.

In the end, Rahimi announced the plan to equip other main goods transit bottlenecks with modern technologies and added: "Soon, an X-ray machine will also be installed and unveiled at the Zal-Andimeshk bridge stop and inspection."
