Legal action against violators and counterfeiters of the standard mark

Director General of Standards of Tehran province, explaining how to deal with violations and forgery of the standard mark, said: Unlicensed units and counterfeiters of the standard mark will also be directly introduced to the judicial authorities.

According to Ambassador Arjan Qasim Fadavi, Director General of Standards of Tehran Province, explaining how to deal with violations and forgery of the standard mark, said: The cases of licensed units will be examined in quasi-judicial commissions, and unlicensed units and standard mark forgers will be directly introduced to judicial authorities.

Appearing in a television program about the legal consequences of illegal use and forgery of the standard mark on goods, he stated: Forgery of the standard mark is considered one of the most serious judicial crimes in the courts, and if proven, the necessary legal follow-up will be carried out.

Fadavi considered the process of investigation of violations in two ways and said: first, the units that have a license to use the standard mark, but have committed a violation, whose cases are investigated in the quasi-judicial commissions located in the general administrations of the provinces with the presence of a judge, and measures such as fines, collection and confiscation of goods are applied.

Director General of Standards of Tehran province noted about the second review process: Unlicensed production units that have attempted to forge the standard mark from the National Standard Organization will be directly referred to the courts and competent judicial authorities.
