Ari Emmanuel Returns to His Memories as Podcast Enters Season Two

Roger Goodell, Pat McAfee, Shaquille O'Neal, Kevin Durant, Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld are among the guests in Season Two of "Rushmore," joining Emmanuel and Ben Persky.

Ari Emanuel, executive chairman of WME and CEO of TKO, returns to his podcast fresh from his New York Times bestseller memoir Roll The Calls.

Emanuel and co-host Ben Persky return their Rushmore podcast on October 20, and see the pair line up with high-profile guests to discuss the greatest people, events and teams of all time.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will be a guest on the second season premiere and discuss the return of the NFL's Mount Rushmore. Later episodes will feature appearances by Pat McAfee (who also produces the show), Shaquille O'Neal, Kevin Durant, Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld. The second season, in partnership with nativ.ly and produced by Pantheon Media Group, was filmed primarily at WME headquarters in Beverly Hills. Episodes will be available on YouTube and other podcast platforms.

"Everyone has their own Rushmore, and everyone thinks Rushmore is right," Emanuel said. "Season two adds bigger arguments, bigger characters, and even more people willing to tell us why we're wrong."

"The debate is what gets us started, but it's the fun in the stories and the history that draws the conversation," Persky added. "When you look at what makes people the best by having the leading experts in those fields, you get a world-class perspective on the things we're all obsessed with."

Rushmore last year with guests including Tom Brady, Elon Musk, Peyton Manning, Jeff Koons and Doris Kearns Goodwin and others.

"Ben and I have been on numerous vacations together, and we come into this conversation about Mount Rushmore with different topics," Emanuel told THR last year about the show's origins. Finally, after a while, I told him that we should talk to a professional and get his perspective, because he thought my perspective was horrible, and I thought his was horrible.

"It was just a conversation and we picked topics that we were interested in at the time and we thought we had great people to connect with, and they did, and that's what we wanted to do, and then it just kept snowballing," Emanuel added.

USC's themed entertainment program hired Steve Tatham, executive director of Epic Universe Creative, as director.
