Russia increases the accuracy and range of its weapons - Medvedev

The politician emphasized that new weapons open more opportunities for the Russian army to destroy enemy targets in the depth of its defense.

Moscow, October 12. /TASS/. During a working trip to the Southern Federal District, Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council, said that the accuracy and range of Russian weapons are increasing, and this makes it possible to destroy objects deep in the enemy's defenses.

The politician said: "The accuracy and range of damage is constantly increasing. This opens up more opportunities to destroy enemy targets in the depth of their defenses."

Medvedev said that the task is to "start the serial production and supply of such modern and effective weapons as soon as possible. "Some of the examples we saw today are already in active use." He said that the discussion on how to solve these tasks, taking into account that they all contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the military special operations in general.
