Provincial Celebration 'Children's Smiles, Alphabet of the Homeland' Held at Intellectual Development Center

Ardabil – The National Children's Week celebration under the slogan 'Children's Smiles, Alphabet of the Homeland' was held at the Ardabil Intellectual Development Center with the presence of officials and instructors.

According to Ambassador Arjan, the celebration of National Children's Week, with the slogan "Children's smiles, the alphabet of the country", was held in Jafar Ebrahimi Shahid hall of the center's general office, with the presence of a group of officials of the executive bodies, teachers, parents and members of Ardabil center centers.

In this ceremony, Meliha Malekzadefard, Director General of the Ardabil Provincial Center, pointed to the efforts of the executive bodies participating in the programs of National Children's Week, and stated: Our fundamental goal in planning this week was to go beyond the framework of traditional celebrations and put a real smile on the faces of all the children of the province through the path of cultural justice.

Stating that children are the highest human capital of any society and attention to their educational and psychological needs should not be limited to the calendar, he said: Every day should be a children's day so that by continuing to pay attention to their needs and ensuring the mental health of this generation, a bright future will be established for the children of Islamic Iran.

Pointing to the field approach of this year's programs, Malekzadefared added: This year, a measure was thought out so that the center's special programs are not only concentrated in fixed centers, but also extend to sports halls, public spaces, cities and subordinate parts of the province with the synergy of executive bodies. This action was to show the importance of children's physical and mental health in their growth path, so that they can study and grow in a calm and worry-free atmosphere.

The Director General of the Ardabil Provincial Center further paid tribute to the memory and name of the martyrs of children and teenagers, especially the student martyrs of Minab school, and emphasized: benefiting from security, healthy life and peace of mind is the inherent and inalienable right of all children. It is necessary to pursue such anti-human actions in legal and international forums, and today, the common duty of officials, teachers and trainers is to overcome the shortcomings and establish a smooth and hopeful path for the elevation of the country's future builders.

In another part of this ritual, Parvaneh Rezagholizadeh, Director General of the Social and Cultural Affairs Office of Ardabil Governorate, explaining the role of civil and governmental institutions in the education of the new generation, said: National Children's Week is a great opportunity for officials and parents to review the position of children.

Rezagholizadeh stated: Today's managers and servants of the society are the same children of yesterday, and it is natural that the future of the country will be in the hands of children who are present in classrooms and cultural and artistic programs today.

He considered one-dimensional education to be a serious damage to the education system and stated: "It is not enough to be limited to formal education in textbooks." Along with education, students should be equipped with various biological, artistic and social skills in order to be efficient, responsible and dutiful citizens in adulthood.

The Director General of the Social and Cultural Affairs Office of Ardabil Governorate also warned about the consequences of children's excessive use of virtual space and smartphones and noted: This incorrect practice has caused the reduction of study hours, individual isolation and the deterioration of children's communication and practical abilities. In such a situation, cultural and artistic centers, especially the center for intellectual development, play an irreplaceable and preventive role and by providing authentic models of skill and literature, they keep children's connection with thought, art and books alive.

In the continuation of this program, the official statement of the National Children's Day was read by one of the members, and parts such as the performance of the Shahnameh reading, introduction of books and happy cultural competitions created a lively atmosphere for the attendees.

The final part of this ceremony was the visit of the provincial officials and the attendees to the exhibition of pottery and ceramic works by teachers and youth members of the Ardabil center centers entitled "From Soil to Fantasy".
