Tim Burton's horror film lives on in a strange Steam adventure that reminds me of the scariest games of 2010.

My 2012 belonged to Slender Man. I was easily terrified by early 2010s horror video games like Slender: The Eight Pages, but I couldn't resist their particular combination of unicorn blood and twee. Lately, I've been missing the rosy sweetness of Tim Burton-style horror games from back in the day, like Fran Bow and Alice: Madness Returns, so the Cozy After Dark Showcase opens with a trailer.
