Khanzadeh: I'm Living My Dream; / Warm Welcome for Iran's Volleyball Star in Italy

At his official presentation with Acqua Sant'Anna Cuneo, Puria Hosseinkhanzadeh spoke of his dream of playing in Italy and stressed that his main goal is to help the team reach the playoff stage.

According to "Varzesh Se", Italy's Aqua Santa Ana Cuneo volleyball club, with an international outlook and ambitious goals, introduced Poriya Hossein Khanzadeh as the first Iranian player in the history of this club in "Maison de Dietrich".

Flavio Bornia, CEO of one of Cuneo's sponsoring companies, said at the event: "We believe in sport and its ability to connect cultures and regions. The arrival of an international talent like Poria is an added value for Cuneo. In this complicated historical period, seeing athletes of different nationalities fighting on the same field for the same goal is an important message."

Paulo Brujafredo, the sports director of the club, also praised Pouria's technical quality and his performance in the summer with the Iranian national team, saying: "We are convinced that we have brought a very high-level athlete to Cuneo. "He showed his readiness to coordinate with the team from the beginning."

David Bima, the general manager of the club, also thanked the business partners and emphasized that investing in sports is actually investing in society.

Poria, who has joined Cuneo for about a week, considers this experience as an important opportunity for his development. He said: "My dream was to play in Italy. I had the chance last year, but I couldn't show my true potential. Now I want to do it with Cuneo, get good results and make the fans and the city happy."

The young receiver also said about his personal and team goals: "My goal is to become the best player in the world one day. But for now, the most important thing is to help Cuneo's team reach the playoffs. "We know that the Italian league is very competitive, but we have to fight everyone without fear."

In the end, Poria said to the fans of "Biancobello" (white and blue): "I heard that Cuneo fans are very passionate. I'm looking forward to playing against them, showing my abilities and feeling their support."
